Quick Tip from the Guru: They’re and Their

As I mentioned in my previous post (which focused on your and you’re), the principles remain the same for they’re and their.

They’re = they are

Example: They’re playing in the forest = they are playing in the forest.

Their = possessive. It belongs to them.

Example: Their car wouldn’t start.

-> the car belongs to them
